How To Make A Marketing Strategy When Branding

This marketing strategy has helped many companies flourish.

But it has to come as part of the branding strategy and not separate from it.

This is the secret sauce that could potentially make any business successful if done right.

This is exactly what I have been using for my company over the last 6 months.

So let’s dive in. Here are the questions we need to be asking:

What do our customers really want on a subconscious level?

  • It’s not makeup it’s status
  • It’s not marketing, it’s customers/money
  • etc…

Demographic research

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Industries that my customers are in
  • Size of business
  • Geographic location

Competitive analysis

Do a Google search

Who else is in my niche?

What do they do, how do they sound, what do I like and not like about them?

Breakdown your competition into categories and niches

Channels to be used – How will I promote my business?

  • Paid or organic?
  • Voice, video, or written? Or all?

What messaging, colours, sounds, and other sensory things do my customers connect to?

  • Research this
  • Look at competition
  • And craft your first idea

All of this is the trial stage and your company story will be evolving.

It’s not 100% accurate but the more you shape and refine, it will get easier, just like it happen with my company.
